Looking for a new mouse as I'm sick of blowing myself up on BF3 with my own grenade when trying to knife someone or, as happened last night, fumbling with the keyboard and managing to eject from the chopper by pressing the wrong button. So when i get paid on Friday I'm going to order a new mouse. I'm not completely in agreement with spending huge amounts on a mouse so I've set my limit at £30.

Basically, Logitech G300 or G400? I'm not sure I like the look of the G400, it looks kinda uncomfortable! Or does anyone have any other suggestions? I'll obviously look out for a mouse in the 'This week only' as well.

Also, i'm still surprised there isn't a 'peripheral' sub forum for mice, keyboards, joysticks etc. It's the only thing missing from the forum IMO.

I think the two you have listed are the ones to consider, maybe try the feel of them in a "local shop" as they usually have them on display and then make a decision?

The G400 is the same Shape as the G7, G5, MX518, MX510 and MX500, a lineage of mice stretching back to 2002.

It is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most comfortable mouse-shape in the history of mankind.

Well I just ordered a G500 thanks to the black Friday deal. Added another 4GB of ram as well (£20!!!). never thought I'd see the day when a mouse costs more than Ram, and 4GB of the stuff too!

Wise choice and great bargain, I spent £40 on the G500 a couple of months ago, but I have to say well worth it!
