30" which one ??

I'm currently in the market for a 30" monitor, i'm undecided between:

1. Samsung SM305T (new stock 2nd April )

2. Dell 3008WFP (16th May in UK)


As I have a 50" plasma for movies etc and can use ANydvd for the pc is it worth me spending extra to get the Dell or just plump for the Samsung as a gaming monitor ?

As I really do not watch Movies on my PC, would the outlay of extra cash for the Dell be worthwhile ? Only really play WoW and Supreme Commander + STarcraft II (soon)..


May have to pick the Samsung before I spend my money on something else,,,,,,,

Not meaning to hijack your thread, but I'm looking at exactly the same 2 screens as you as well.

PC is not used for movies/tv at all as I have a 60 inch Pioneer on the wall in the other room. Strictly games only on this.

i think the dell is a far superior screen, it uses a S-IPS panel and they have a very good track record, the warranty is extremely good, the number of different connections is good as well, overall the dell is a lot better, but if your planning on gaming only, the samsung may be a better buy, you really need to ask badass

If you want the best you should be looking at the NEC screens. :)

Also we now have the Samsung 305T in stock!
 
With Reference to buying one :

What are the differences if any between :

Samsung SM-305T

Samsung SM-305T+

noticed some places sell both and was looking for an answer before I buy the wrong one :)
