Hi,

I have come seeking expert advice :P.

I was asked earlier in the week to spec a build for around £300 for a ten year old (No Monitor or Windows Operating Sofware Needed).

I thought it would be relatively easy but seem to be struggling, never built a computer for so cheap.

Its for a ten year old, that will do some gaming, web surfing and movie watching.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was thinking roughly:

Processor: AMD Piledriver FX-4
GFX Card: AMD 7750 although:

Seems a very good buy.

Thanks for the help.

No Specified games.

I just assumed casual gaming.

Being able to play most games even on medium settings would be good if possible?

Cheers for the help.

Am i being blind though? where's the GFX card above haha

If you're not averse to second-hand, you'd likely be able to pick up an i7 920 bundle or similar and build a system around that for that kind of money.

If it's strictly new gear, an AMD APU like specced above is probably the best you could do. It's a tight budget.

Yah that GPU is a bargaina t the moment aand the free 3 games just adds to it.

I am suggesting thats the build they go for.

Thank you for all the help.
