Its limiting I know, but you lot are pretty good.

I did have a spec for £300, but with the new HDD prices (which IMHO arent fair until the companies have to pay higher to get stock it, right now theyre profiting on a disaster), I need a new spec.

My cousin has very little income, so an upgrade probably wont happen...so a 1155 socket isnt possible, nor is second hand.
He's going to use it for video editing and mild gaming (might get away with on board).

I was thinking AMD X4 (cheap quad for editing), but now maybe a llano would be best? An i3 might be possible, but see above.

Try and spec a £40max case incase he doesnt like the specced case.

Thanks you :)

Oh and if you check out your local rainforest you could probably get a bigger Hard drive for the same price.
Didn't spec for Windows cause wasn't sure if you have it already.

Im sure I can find a way :p

Problem is, I specced them a build a few weeks ago and prices have changed...only the PSU I specced actually got cheaper :(
My aunties the type that will take your word....if its £300, its £300. I told her that my CPU and mobo cost £300 and she almost hit the floor (my cousin wants the speed of my computer).
