They should offer a freeeee movie as a promotion for about 6 hours or something I'm sure if people see the beauty of it then they are more likely to try it in the future!!!

It would have the opposite effect though, too many people will try to download and either fail, get slow speed, or adversely affect the whole Live platform, whcih will then make these people think twice. Make it cheap for 1 week per month per title for 6 months. That will help.

Just checked, still 540 points for the HD version of 300. (I am wondering now if maybe this is a USA only offer or something).

Anyway worse news, kind off, is that not one of the HD movies on our store has 5.1 sound. Weirdly the same film on SD format (for some of them) has 5.1 sound (Matrix Revolutions SD is listed as 5.1 and HD is listed as stereo)!!!

Are they in WMV (VC-1) or MP4 (h.264) format? The 360 is quite limited with audio with some formats; WMV supports 2.0 or 5.1 WMA but MP4 only allows 2 channel AAC. That could be a reason, perhaps the SD ones are in WMV but the high def ones are in h.264 for some reason

Either that or there's some completely pointless reason.
