I have no reason to believe the restrictions have changed just because this title is on special offer.

Yeah I rented this on Bluray - it needs 1080p and 5.1 if you have the right setup.

It's a mediocre film with great visuals and great sounds - if you dont have the equipment to experience either then dont bother.

Already got it on HD-DVD. Not a bad film but too repetitive. SPAAAAAARTAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I agree, it's an audio-visual tour-de-force, bolted onto an average but enjoyable film.

It wasn't directed at you, if you think that, then I can only apologise.

I'm simply saying that for £1.00, you can't really complain about the sound quality issues. It's like someone downloading a warez film and complaining about the quality -- it's FREE FFS.

there a nail and a head in there somewhere.....bloody good value tbh, but im not surprised at all that the release is limited in sound. for that little outlay, it's still a great film

The great offer aside, i found the HD versions not that much better than the SD version tbh. I've found that with quite a few cgi-loaded films, except LOTR which is cracking. Anyone else?

Some people just want everything, and will always find something to moan about no matter how good a deal it is.

Cant wait to dl this :)

FFS, for £1 its a bargain, I won't dispute that. However for £5 which is the normal rental price, and the one I paid, I want the 5.1 sound to go with the HD, especially as the SD version has it.

Its only 100 MS points according to newsletter; works out like 85p.. bargain

shame the movie isnt that great though :/.

Watched it on blu-ray the other week and enjoyed it so worth a watch for 85p.

Are all the marketplace HD films in stereo? I can't see it doing very well if so, when you can rent the full HD version cheaper from a video store or much cheaper if you rent by post.

Even dodgy rips online can keep 5.1 although it's nothing like the full thing.
