, for £300 would be the 7900 GTX, but you can get equal performance from the £205 x1900 XT 512mb, but that also does HDR+AA that the 7900 can't, so he doesn't need to spend £300, oh and the x1900 uses more power, gives out more heat, and is louder, but as i said they are about equal.
