£300 graphics card?

Yes its better then the 670, but a 7950 could save u cash and is about the same as a 670 and 7970 when oced. I know the 7970 can be oced too but its a little bit more.

If you dont have a SSD u can get them for nearly 100 quid now for a decent sized one, is rather have a 7950 and ssd then a 7970, but i have a 7970 and ssd :D

PS keep away from MSI cards tbh, get a Gigabyte.

300 is max of what i can spend, any more than that and i will be homeless.

i thought msi would be good? i know that is a reference card but are they good enough?
 
I had a 660 from gigabyte and the coolers on them are great! Quiet and cool :D

They are UK based for RMA.

And normally one of the cheapest prices.

You cant really go wrong tbh.
 
The MSI cards did have problems with the cooler not making good contact but that was a while ago. Always look for a trusted brand like Gigabyte/EVGA/MSI.

The smart money is on the 7950 purely for price to performance. The 670 is a fantastic card but a little over your budget.
