£300 ish smartphone for the wife?

Her phone is 5 years old and is getting pretty knackered plus it's an easy birthday present for me.

Not looking for anything to expensive, is a Google Pixel 6a a good shout?

Thanks, I'll take a look. Frustratingly the Pixel 6a won't deliver from Amazon to my address for some bizarre reason and the others are from sellers which I will not use.

Her current phone is Motorola and been good.
 
Reading up on the Motorola Edge Neo 30 is there are several comments that the camera isnt the best, and I think that is something important for the wife.

Ahh nevermind thanks all.

But literally since looking this morning Amazon now have some Pixel 6a's in stock sold by amazon on a bundle deal with the earbuds so order placed.

I generally dont like using Amazon and dont use them often, but for something like this the warranty etc is worth it.

I once bought an LG Nexus 5x which was basically guaranteed to brick itself due to a design failure, to the extent a class action was won in the US, however obviously that doesnt carry over to the UK and LG didnt want to know.

Amazon on the other hand issued me a FULL refund, so to me that protection is worth it.
