Colleague at work has asked me to build him a PC for general internet usage and some light gaming. Budget is low at £300, though he already has a 1TB HDD (Sata), KB/M and the OS. His current monitor is a 1680x1050 res, but would like the build to be able to play at 1080p (with settings turned down) in case of a monitor change in the future.

He plans to play, Fifa 15, COD, Wolfenstien, Watchdogs, He also has an old 1GB 9500GT though I assume this will not be of much use.

No alegiances so either Inter/AMD/Nvdia.

Thanks

Id go for a new APU build relativley cheap or got for an older phenom quad core, GPU i would probably look at getting a 660/760/7950. 4gb ram (patriot is reputable and reasonably priced) and psu CX500 from corsair will be more than enough and also allow a few well played upgrades in the future and case corsair 300d will be fine all this together will probably cost around £350 a bit over budget but for £300 your going to struggle unless buying second hand parts.

How do these APU's perform compared to low end God's. Now the ocuk site is working could some kindly piece one together.
