I'm in the market for a new monitor, and currently have this in mind:

Being a hardcore gamer (competitive css/cod4) I need a good response time etc and a good contrast ratio in order to see in to those dark spots.

I saw the Samsung with 120hz, but didn't find the 5ms very tempting. (or am I being silly?)


So, please help me! I don't know what to go for.

specs don't say much about monitors, even if you're looking for a gaming monitor.

heres the situation you get.
you get a 2ms monitor with some slight ghosting (acceptable), but with high input lag.
and you can get a 5ms monitor with no sign of ghosting and almost perfect syncronous with CRT.

just examples...

the 22'' 120Hz monitor from samsung is the best gaming monitor you can get atm for 22'' range.. I don't think its worth it for the price though.
