Hi there, today i got a new pc from a well known pc store that my brother works in, anyway there was a display pc there for a month or so... one of the workers cracked the case when taking it off the shelf and it got put in the storage room, today my brother seen it and asked the boss how much he could sell it to me for and he said £320, so my brother phoned me and i ended up buying it with his discount for £300

I am just wondering is it well worth my money?

Specs;
AMD 3800+ X2
2 GB Dual Channel ram (Not sure what ram, maybe value)
x1300 series
200 gb HDD
DVD Writer

*No Moniter or other accesories*

I no i need a new graphics card but is it worth the money?

I thought it was pretty good myself but i asked on another forum and they all said "ooooo wouldnt buy it with a crack in it" and "the specs arnt too good" but maybe they are just stuck-up, me myself... im happy with this pc, i dont have too much money and my old pc specs were crap so this is a big upgrade for me.

Old specs;

AMD Althlon 3200+
512 ram
120GB HDD
Radeon 9600 SE :O

So yea... pretty big upgrade for me :)

Also.. is there any special drivers needed to utilise the Dual core properly or is that just more myths im hearing? (im not very computer illiterate :P)

Those people you first asked are ignorant swines, does a cracked case reduce performance? No.
The 2gb of ram alone would cost £150! At least

Remove the swearing please. I think that was a fairly good deal for £300, should be a nice speed increase from your old system- enjoy! :cool:
