£300 phone

Hi,

I'm after a new phone as my huawei p10 is slow as hell now and its annoying me. I've never bought a new phone and am happy to go 2nd hand or refurbished this time if it'll get me a good deal. I'll have around £300 to spend but will be pleased to go well below that if possible (it's a hard ceiling though, you could spend your life going "for an extra £20" here or "another £30" there)

With black friday and *whispers* Christmas, coming up is there anything I should be on the lookout for that people can recommend?

I'm not a heavy user and I don't play mobile games. Just something reliable and significantly speedier than my current phone is fine. I live in the mountains and take a lot of landscape pictures so an ultrawide camera would be very nice.

Xiaomi MI 10 Lite is a great device which is superb value for money - 6/64GB can be had for around £250 if you shop around.
 
If you can find a second hand OnePlus Nord, that would be at the top of the list. It feels immensely snappy due to unskinned android and a 90Hz display. Cameras are decent too.

The OP mentioned an Ultrawide would be nice which the 4A doesn't have. However, I'm not sure an UW at the £300 end of the spectrum would be especially good quality, so the 4A is still a good shout, along with a second hand S10 :)
