£300 reliable

Looking for a £300 laptop for my parents thats main priority is reliable.

Considering wiping it and putting ubuntu on one as its mainly for web browsing.

Anyone got any good ideas?

Have you considered a Chromebook?

Perfect for just web browsing, and you should never have to go round an uninstall all the search bars.
