I'm looking to upgrade my computer and for practical reasons would like to buy a SFF.

Could anybody suggest a case that would suit the new Core2 Duo's (i have the E6600 in mind)? My budget for the overall system including the processor is around £300 - tight i know, help anyone? :)

hey Raikiri,

thanks for the speedy response, yeah sorry i meant to say that all that i'll really be needing is the case, processor and RAM.
I've heard about the 22nd July price cuts so hopefully the E6600 will definitely be a viable option considering my tight budget.

Antec NSK1300 ATX Cube Case - 300W PSU £49.99
(£58.74)
Intel Core 2 Duo E2160 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.80GHz (800FSB) - Retail £51.99
(£61.09)
Abit IP-95 Micro ATX (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard£31.99
(£37.59)
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C5 800MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400DC)£49.99

I've taken your selection to just over £200 which is definitely better but I was hoping you could advise of a SFF case with more of a Shuttle footprint rather than the Micro ATX which from what I can see are significantly wider :(

Any budget-ish barebone Shuttle/Aopen/Biostar with Core2Duo compatiible motherboard suggestions are very welcome!

i've decided i'll just go for a SFF case that supports micro atx motherboard, in which case can anybody recommend the best motherboard to suit a SFF case?

i'm thinking of getting the Antec NSK1300 ATX Cube Case that Raikiri suggested unless anybody knows of a better case for about the same price :)
