Whats the cheapest you can spec me? I can skip the O/S and HDD probably. A graphics card would probably not be needed ? They just want it for internet and photos.

If it goes over £300 ill just print it off and show him.

looks good, but Id get 4 gig of RAM

I doubt they will even use 1Gig TBH. All he wants it for is his wife. She will only be downloading pictures of cakes on the internet and printing them off. And a bit of online betting maybe. Also Ebay.

I'm just not sure on the PSU and Mobo. Will they work together? Does the mobo have on board graphics to power the monitor?

Cheers.

it certainly does... a 6100 geforce to be exact.. you will not need a graphics card for this board.. and the psu will be fine.

Well, happy days.

Printed it off and will show him in the morning.

Going to be another £50 i think if he wants a new DVD drive and hard drive.

Cheers for the help :)

Just thought i'd update this thread.

I built the PC in question, i used a different mobo (MSI) same price though and i used a samsung monitor instead. Final price £325 i think it was.

The case was dream to work with. I had it all built in about 30-45minutes. Everthing went without a hitch :)

Very impressed with the case though. If anyone wants a budget case, i highly suggest a 335 :)
