Hi All,

First, thanks for any advice you can offer...

Im looking for a budget build, but obviously want to get the best for my money!

I already have a SSD, two 1TB drives for storage and windows 7.

I also have an old HD4850 GPU - would i be better using this or onboard graphics?

I will mainly use the computer for office, web browsing, and the occasional game (currently Stick of Truth) so nothing intensive and doesnt need to be running at full graphics, although in a couple of years i would still like to play the odd game with reasonable graphics.

So, ive put together this list

YOUR BASKET
1 x Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) £67.99
1 x BitFenix Colossus M Micro ATX - Black £64.99
1 x Corsair CS550M 550W Semi-Modular 80+ GOLD Certified Power Supply (CP-9020076-UK) £59.99
1 x Gigabyte F2A88XM-D3H AMD A88X Chipset (Socket FM2+) DDR3 Micro ATX Motherboard £53.99
1 x AMD A6-6400K 3.90GHz (Socket FM2) APU Richland Dual Core Processor (AD640KOKHLBOX) £44.99
Total : £305.45 (includes shipping : £11.25).

Could i get better for my money, i could stretch to £350 if needed

Thanks!

Thanks very much,

Ive been looking at a 450W psu, and getting an A8 5600K processor instead

Would 450w be enough? and will onboard graphics be ok? (im still living in 2006 where onboard graphics werent worth bothering about!)

You will be able to play games with onboard gpu , and could even get away with a 350/400w psu on your build. The 450w will give you leeway to add a mid range gpu at a later date, 550w even better.
