Hi Guys,

Currently I have this system:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939) - Retail (ADA3800BVBOX) (CP-134-AM)
GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC3200 Value Dual Channel Kit CAS3 (GE2GB3200BDC) (MY-046-GL)
Antec Sonata II Piano Black Quiet Case - 450W Smart Power PSU (CA-040-AN)
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10 NCQ 160GB 6V160E0 SATA-II 8MB Cache - OEM (HD-091-MD)
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (3056) (GX-047-CO)
Abit KN8 nForce4 (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-086-AB)

I recently upgrade my monitor to 28" so I'm playing games (css, wow) at 1920x1200, nothing crazy.

For my budget, what would you recommend? Should I just upgrade the gfx card? or will I need gfx card, memory, cpu and motherboard? Thanks

I was thinking of dropping in a HIS ATI Radeon HD 4870 1024MB GDDR5, but will I need the upgrade PSU?

You'd probably need a better psu, yes... However your CPU will likely be a bottleneck for such a gfx card...

The 4870 could be a good upgrade if you plan on upgrading the rest of the system.

Could you recommend me a PSU? Up to about £80.

Next month I will probably upgrade motherboard, cpu and ram.

I'm looking to buy today so any help would be great.
