3000+ Venice 2.9GHz vs D 805 3.5GHz

Agreed my P4 at 4ghz cant match my 144 Opteron at 2.5ghz in games or benchmarks although an 805 at that speed wont be too far behind

They don't actually seem to run that hot (51c both cores 100% load on air @ 3.8) :p although they do use a lot of power

@OP the venice with ease in games, although most other things the 805 will
