£300ish GFX Card

Hi,

I'm currently running a xfx 6770 under water (universal block) and i'm looking to replace it with something a bit more powerful as i'm getting low on video memory when running Total War: Rome 2.
I'm looking at the R9 280x and the R9 290. But i would like to also get a full cover waterblock for the card. I am willing to spend around the £300 +-£50 mark for the card alone and will purchase a full cover block later.

You have a couple of choices either to get a standard reference cooler gpu or a custom cooler gpu. So it depends how long before you fit the watercooler.

If you dont neeed as powerful gpu as a 290 then drop down to a 280x and save some cash.
