Qualcomm Atheros AR5B93

Using latest driver 10.0.0.255 http://www.atheros.cz/atheros-wireless-download.php?chipset=40&system=6

Am only getting a connection speed of 130MBPS to my Asus RT-N66U

Below are the settings

That card doesn't do 5GHz.

You might just have interference issues. 40MHz wide channels use up a lot of spectrum, if there's more than a couple of other APs in range then you won't find 40Mhz of clear space.

Can explain more please?

Not all wireless cards irrespective of what speed they achieve will work with all routers.
I have 5 different laptops here all with 300mbs wireless N and only 3 of them will connect at 300mbs the others 130/150mbs,
yet on the BT router they will connect at 300mbs, so it really is down to compatibility.

I flash the router to Merlin, had to do a Windows install as well and still nothing.

Bought an Intel 6235 and 300 mbps right away. Guy on ebay has been super helpful and is refunding
