300W PSU enough to run this?

They use FSP as the oem for their SFF psu's (and most others too) and they have similar 12v rails. The SFX2 300w has 264w (wouldn't surprise me if it was the same unit as the Silverstone 300w) while the 400w version has 360w on the 12v rail. The TFX 300w Bronze has 264w and the TFX 300w Gold has 288w. None of these seem any better than the Silverstone versions and there are no reviews apart from one for the TFX300 Gold but that's a different form factor again and only scored 8/10.

The gold rated Silverstone units seem to be the best ones but are far more expensive.

Here is my case at the moment. As you can see no room for a video card currently with the CPU cooler and PSU in the way. The OCZ PSU is 160mm deep so will 15mm make all that much difference?

It look's extremely cramped in there, I can see why you wanted a SFX psu. Measure 15mm and 20mm down from the end of your OCZ to see if a gpu has enough clearance. If you get enough clearance the Superflower would be my first choice but it is the longer of the pair. If you still don't have enough room you will have to think about biting the bullet on one of the Gold rated Silverstones (they do have the relevant pci-e connectors, 1x 8 pin + dual 6 pin) but at least they are modular. One thing to remember is that due to the smaller fans you are going to get increased noise. The Silverstone's are particularly noisey and I expect that the BeQuiets are similar as they use the same oem.

Forgot about the cooler. In the interest of freeing some space, plus you already have it, fit the H60. I presume it's the fan screws that are stripped as that is the usual thing with them? You could drill the holes to the next size up and use bigger screws or get some self tapping screws to fix the fans.

Update:

Okay guys I've just taken everything out. Measured the space and I've just over 145mm to play with. In terms of PSU I am probably going to get this:

SuperFlower Golden Green HX 450W

However, it's not modular. Will the cables have enough room to get around the graphics card? Or could I face the PSU with the fan facing the other way? Won't be good for cooling though.

Or, shall I go for the Silverstone 500W modular PSU that's 140mm?

Here is a photo:

Choices, guys, your help is much appreciated.

Alex.
