This is doing my head in!! At work we use a centralised database driven practice management software that basically does everything for us and we cant be without it! However recently we have started to get error 3043 and a few seconds later the program will close and wont restart unless you restart your machine.

I had a search on google and it said something about the temp folders but all users have local administrative prilidges so that should allow them full access to the local temp folders?

There have been no other hardware or software changes to the local machines or the server other than windows updates.

The only thing that has changed is our ISP but it was just a case of updating the router with the new settings and connecting it. The software doesnt need an active internet connection and doesnt check for updates or anything like that.

Can anyone suggest a solution? Its going it 6-10 times a day sometimes!!

Thanks, Mark

Chase the people that sold/installed and support it?

to be fair, its a pretty vague error message and without very detailed knowledge of how the application is setup and your environment, its impossible to answer.

Yeah tried that but they said that its the first time they have heard of error. To be fair the support is excellent but becuase we are the only one to report it then they are suggesting that its at our end . There have been no updates to the program either which makes its all very mysterious!!

Sounds very much like an application error and not a Windows one.

Maybe network related as your altered/chenged routers. The software writer should be the first port of call.
