3080 driver update black scree

Hey,

doing a driver update and it black screens, I can hard restart PC and screen goes black but now I get 0x0003 error on GeForce experience, removed and reinstalled and still the same...what gives?

Use DDU ( https://www.wagnardsoft.com/content/display-driver-uninstaller-ddu-v18037-released ) to uninstall all drivers and make sure internet is off so windows doesn't try to reinstall them and install drivers that are really old. Then go to nvidia drivers and make sure to select the standard drivers not the DCH drivers.

Get drivers from here, make sure to select standard drivers not DCH (under Windows Driver Type):-

Naah they are great cards, just sort the drivers out . REMEMBER TO HAVE THE INTERNET DISABLED ON THE PC, before restarting and then windows messes it up again. So download the drivers first before removing them and then disable the internet and remove the drivers and reinstall the new ones.

Same again, halfway through driver install and it black screens...oh wait it’s restarting this time...yep still not working . Current driver is 30/09/20 27.21.14.5671

I know people get this issue on Win 10 but I have never had it so far, even a DEV Update/Repair Install does not mess with my driver version.

I now use the DHC drivers as it is the way forward.
