3080 FE constant crashing

Hi all, this card has been crashing from day 1, anything from 5-25 mins. I have tried everything, do you think its faulty? The new drivers have made no difference. Games that are crashing are GTA5, Red Dead 2, PES 2020, Rocket league (all I've tried)

Ryzen 1700 OC to 3.8
32 GB Crucial 3000 MHZ DDR4
Windows 10
1TB NVME
RTX 3080 FE
650W Fractal Design Edison M Gold.

Things I have tried and failed

Underclocking 100 mhz
Removing and updating drivers
New power supply (NZXT c850)
Removing the overclock on the processor
Side of the case off (for temp)

I wish I still had my 1080 right now! Should I try to RMA it?

I have two separate cables running from the power supply to the card.
I haven't tried the oc on the ram, I can try that.

Is your motherboard BIOS up to date?

Yeap running the latest available. It's the Asus prime X370 Pro.

I have ddu a shot didn't do it in safe mode, I'll try that and removing the memory overclock and see

Psu is only 650w

Was only 650, its now 850 and has made no difference.

and running the latest nVidia drivers from a few days ago?

Yeap running the one from yesterday. Tried that previous one too.

Max temp on the GPU is around 75-77C

I have made progress using a mixture of things.

I have set the CPU to 3.8 GHz @ 1.35V
I took the ram down to 2400 Mhz using XMP and it seemed stable currently back up to 3000 Mhz using XMP with 1.35V manually set.
I set a fan profile to ramp up (all my fans) to 70% on any temp over 55c on the CPU up to 100% on 67c on the CPU. Currently seeing a max temp of 63c.

With this, I managed an hour of GTA last night and an hour of red dead and GTA this morning. I will need to monitor it to see if the crashing is over, but it's a hell of a lot better than before. Just thought I would update in case anyone else is facing the same issues.

Seems to be a system issue for sure, I have put a good few hours in with no issues. Glad to get to the bottom of it!

I think its a mix of the changes to the overclocks as well as a new power supply to sustain the new power draw? Touch wood this will be the end of it.
