3080 FE, more voltage / power limit possible?

This is my 3080 FE hitting 58c max (but 100% fan)
Sure there is more in it if I can provide more voltage or increased power limit as the default temp limit is 83c.

All system fans are on 42% so could get it quite a bit lower temperature wise still

It must sound horrendous those fans at 100%

But I don't think there's a way to increase the power limit short of shunting the resistors since you cannot flash non FE BIOS to FE cards. But your FE is better than mine at least - can only get about 18700 GFX score even under water

Oh yes, of course. I would never run at 100% fans but was interested to see after someone posted a 3080 TUF score of 18,936. Is 'shunting the resistors' a hardware mod?

Yeah it is basically adding more (at multiple points) to fool the card into thinking its drawing less power. I don't think my card is efficient enough to warrant it, probably massively increase power draw for a minor clock bump - my card seems a bit of a power hungry lemon

I would probably end up destroying my card

Now with system fans at 100%. 19,184, 54c max
