3080ti on a custom fan curve?

Hey guys,

My new GPU has the fan settings so that they only turn on once they hit over 50c..

CAn I use AfterBurner, make a custom fan curve, and have say to idle around 20% fan speed? Or will that conflict if the card is designed to be in a "fan off state" when idle?

I will leave it on auto, i suppose its designed this way for a reason, and if idling in the 40c~ was an issue, it wouldnt be set to that.
