Well my 30D just arrived, after an impulse upgrade. Who can say no to £540 after cashback?
I was a bit concerned about the larger size as I'm not a big guy by any means. But the size is perfect. Chunky, but nicely chunky. Fits the hand perfectly. The 350D does indeed seem like a toy now
I love having all the controls right there, and the display on the top saves a lot of effort. Means you never have to go into the main menu again. The larger display is also a life saver. Can get a much better idea of whether a shot worked or not compared to the smaller size on the 350D. The real test will be when I get this baby out for a test drive, hoping especially to get some 5fps action going when I go down to Cornwall to try and catch some surfing
So in conclusion, if you have a couple of hundred quid spare, then I'd say the upgrade is well worth it. Now to order that battery grip to make it even more chunky
