30GB SSD for Arch + Gnome 3?

IS 30GB enough for a gnome install or am I going to constantly be worrying about space?

IS SSD ok on linux? or will it need buggering with?

hhmmm I have all music and video on my arch server so don't need a lot of space...

it's only £45 for a ssd as well. Could get a 60GB Vertex 2E for £80 though.

oh while you're here, I have a 5870, is it a no go on gnome 3 on the open source driver?
