Was wondering what you guys would think would be better.

I know the best way to look at it is thick fan and slim rad is better than the other way round.

But with it being so close together in size and not having to rely on slim fans does that change anything?

If you're absolutely limited to 55mm total then I would personally go with a 30mm rad. The standard 25mm fan depth has a lot more options and pushing more air with a thicker fan through a thinner rad might not get you so much of a gain.

Why are you limited to 55mm?
I've mounted rads externally and had fans either side in push-pull, before. Your sense of aesthetics will be ****** at you for about a week, but then you'll get over it and be far more taken with the increased cooling capacity, especially as you're now able to get 60mm rads with nae problems!

It's the space i have underneath the GPU block to the bottom of the case. Trying to maximize the internal volume of an NR200, i've got a 5900X and a 3080ti both custom looped with 2 rads.

Got a Nemesis GTS 30mm thick 240mm radiator with 2 x Phanteks T30 and an XPSC 20mm thick 240mm radiator with 2 x 25mm Noctua A12's. Was able to fit an IceManCooler which holds an EKWB 4.2 DDC and holds over 100ml for the resevoir. This is fitted to the back of the case and the radiator is fitted to the side mount and bottom of the case with 2 x Noctua S12B's as top exhaust fans.

Im probably just gonna stick with what i have, it's just me throwing money at it trying to make small gains here and there, may do further down the line but just wanted to know peoples ideas on which i should increase for the rads or fans. So far im getting 70 degrees on the 5900x and the 3080ti gets 55 degress while the memory junction gets 60 degrees.

But i get what ya mean, i was going to just mount fans on the underside of the case and get a top hat mod to stick a really thick rad and fan but i went with the route of doing what i can to fit everything inside without increasing external dimensions

Its worth keeping some space between the fans/rad and any internal components. You can essentially starve the fans by blocking the flow completely.
