32" 1440 or 4k monitor for £300

Current monitor is the AOC q3279vwf, which i'm looking to sell when my replacement comes, as current one is faulty.
I game a little, but not a hardcore gamer so not sure mega high refresh rate is a must, unless achievable at 1440p within my budget.

Any recommendations?

Kind of put off this brand of monitor now. Just received my replacement which the display port is damaged, also there seems to be dirt or something trapped under my screen as there's too black marks. Wish I just kept my last now and just ran it at 60hz or sold it on with the minor fault
 
They just state I'm only eligible for refurbed item, but i'm stuck with my damaged replacement for now as they said they don't have any other units available
 
Danny, the monitor is outside of the 12 month window aswell, that's why i'm dealing with AOC and not the retailer.

Tamzzy, I told them i'd wait for replacement stock, even asked if they'd try and repair mine and return that one to me, just got to wait and hope they actually do get back to me when they get a replacement in and not just leave me hanging
 
well, my new replacement has arrived and same issue as the last, someone has rushed putting the back on which has lead to the display port to be pushed in/trapped under the monitor housing. Will get onto them again and try and get customer service to issue me with a new monitor this time
