I'd be drooling over a 38 inch 1800p ultrawide oled monitor. Use a 34 ultrawide @1440p and a 32 Gaming 144 @ 1440p. Great for me (getting on a bit now) but I can see why some people will Pixel peep at 32 inch 1440p. 4 k definitely but driving them is really 3080ti territory.

I have been using the LG 32gk850g for 1.5 years now and I love it. I have no problem with the PPI not being "sharp". On the contrary I find text perfect and nice size. I use a 27" 1440p at work and I love when I get home to the bigger screen where text is larger (no I am not old and blind :D).

Gaming on the 32" is amazing. I sit at a 60cm desk and the screen is wall-mounted and a perfect size for gaming. I much prefer this over an ultrawide where the hight of the screen is so low I feel like I'm missing half the picture.

It's fine, I'm using a Samsung C32HG70 which I've had for a couple of years now (desk mounted as the included stand was massive)... Sure if you pixel peep you can see the pixels but chances are you're going to be 60cm+ away from the display so it's not really a issue.

If however your desk or space is limited which means you're going to be close to the screen then don't, but then again you should buy large displays like these if that's your situation anyway.

Just a warning, if you go for a curved screen make sure you have a huge desk, they're big.

So maybe this res/size combo is gaining traction... Along with the Samsung Odyssey (OcUK thread), we have had the following 31.5-32" 1440P monitors announced recently;
  • Acer XB323U - 170Hz IPS, flat screen
  • MSI Optix G32CQ4 - 165Hz VA, 1500R curvature
  • MSI PS321QR - 165Hz IPS, flat screen
Hopefully there's even more on the way.

Indeed, hopefully more flat versions. Curved on 16:9 alone is just retarded.

I am interested in this one too. I currently have a 34" UW monitor which has the same DPI as a 27" W, but I am finding it's straining my eyes. A little bit of fiddling with scale and the 32" should be a huge improvement. I would prefer to get a new monitor rather than use scaling though because some games have issues with the scaling and or can't be adjust without the horrible strain happening.
