Hi all,

Am looking at a good standard, Vista build. Can anyone confirm for me as to which version of Vista I should buy right now. Specifically, 32-bit or 64-bit version?

Any help appreciated :D

64bit

You'd be a FOOL to do other wise!

Also get Home Premium as the ultimate extras are a bit pointless and basic is well basic.

Anyway i think thats everything, enjoy vista 64 :)

Exactly as pingwing said.

You would have to be crazy not to get 64-bit. Home Premium offers the best selection of features for the price.

Surely whether Home Premium is best or not depends on what the OP wants the computer for? I for one am disappointed that I didn't spend the extra £40 to buy Ultimate due to the lack of such features as a local policy editor and caching of network passwords. Then there's the fact that you can't RDP to a Home Premium machine (unless you hack it).

I'm definitely in agreement with people that 64 bit is the way to go though.
