Hi Guys & Gals, just a quick one, I'm upgrading my PC to an I5 12600k but keeping my 32 gigs of DDR4 on a z690 compatible motherboard and my rtx 2070 oc 8Gb.

I'm thinking of upgrading one of my monitors to a 32" curved 1440p monitor and wondering if I would be okay, main games I play are BFV and Total war titles.

I will be upgrading my GPU but waiting until the prices drop at a later date

I really don't understand curved 16:9 monitors. They're not wide enough to give any benefit to being curved.

As for performance, it'll be an RTX 2070 driving 2560x1440, you'll be fine there.

Thanks, I want it curved as I have a monitor arm that supports two, I have a curved 27 inch and was going to put the 32 along with (only the 32 would be running off the Desktop) and feel they seem to suit better for wrapping around your desk space when they are curved, why would you advise just normal?

Curved is nice on a monitor. Defo helps with picture blur vs viewing angle that you get with VA on a 32". Though that depends on your model if it helps, on a IPS i guess it's a non point.

I'm not sure i'd want a flat monitor at 32" to be honest, when you're close it's big!

Personal choice of course but I have a 34" UW with a 2000R curve and a 32" 16:9 with 1800R and those curves are enough not to distract.

Less than 32" and I probably wouldn't bother with a curve and 1500R or more curved is really only for gaming IMO.

Thanks for all your responses, ended up going for a Aser TUF vg32vq 165hrz as got a deal on it reduced to £299, yup loving it, been playing BFV and Warhammer 2 on ultra setting, lovin it

Apologies to hijack but keen on the Samsung G7 32" but I do use my PC for work occasionally and don't want the text to be blurry. Is blurred text a big issue on VA panels?

I've typically stayed with IPS panels. Had a TN panel once and it was horrible (for me anyway)
