Think carefully before buying monitors. I bought an LG 27GN950-B (4K, 160Hz) in October 2020 and it's just gone wrong (single vertical pixel line always on) after 2 years 3 months heavy use.
It's out of warranty, and I foolishly (in retrospect) didn't purchase an extended warranty.
The vendor (not OCUK) simple states that they offer no out-of-warranty repair service at all for monitors (I expect OCUK do offer that for any monitor they sell, but please checkl).
So I contacted LG in the UK directly, and they said they do not offer any non-warranty repair now for the next 2 months (and no guarantee afterwards).
The lesson here is to really cover yourself; consider what will happen if your monitor breaks outside of warranty. If you couldn't afford to write it off and buy a replacement then do take the price of the extended warranty into account too.
No vandor or manufacturer owes you any responsibility to fix stuff, evem if you pay, outside of warranty.
