32" lcd tv or a projector?

Im stuck between getting either a nice 32" flat screen for my bedroom or a projector. Basically it will be used for general pc monitor use, gaming and dvd watching. Currently have a belinea 20.1" tft which I will get rid of to make way for either the projector or tv. The only problem with the projector is that my room is tiny so it might look a bit ott

Projector isn't suitable for 'general use' you can't just turn them on and off at will plus the bulb life will get eaten up before you know it and they're expensive to replace. Projectors are really for sessions i.e several hours at a time

I personally went for projector + a 19" screen, perfect solution for me.

defintly the TV. depending on the size of your room a projector is probably pointless, and for general use the tv is the way to go.

and as goatboy said the bulbs cost a fortune to replace.

I use my projector for DVDs, TV and the PC, but not really for casual usage. For checking my email first thing in the morning, the TFT is a MUCH better choice.
Also bear in mind that the projector will be rubbish in anything other than dark conditions.

I'd suggest you go with the TFT and projector combo, don't ditch your existing TFT.

BTW, Neverwinter nights looks great on a 92" screen size.
