32" TV required - Samsung UE32H6400AK or LG 32LF650V

Hi all,

I need a new 32" TV and am looking at the above two models.

They seem much of a muchness with similar features and prices but I'm leaning towards the LG if only because I quite like the webOS interface.

Anyone have any opinions or advice that might help me decide or anything else I should be aware of?

The H6400 Samsung is regarded as an excellent set. I've got no comments or opinion on the LG however.

Personally, I completely disregard the Smart TV function of a TV as I use a KODI/OpenELEC Raspberry Pi to fulfill that role. However, if the Smart portion is important to you then you should give it careful consideration against what you will be using the most - That being the panel/image quality.

I need Netflix & Plex clients so it'd be far easier if the TV supported these directly rather than having to rely on an external box.

I've recently discovered that there's no Plex client for LG's webOS 2 or 3 (much to the annoyance of many Plex users it seems and Plex & LG are blaming each other). Might sway me in the direction of Samsung.
