I currently have an Sli set up with 2 7950gts and am looking to make a short upgrade with some cash that I have recently come into, im looking to spend no more than 320 pounds,

I run a 3.4ghz core 2 and a 680i motherboard and need a card to best run games at 1920x1200, the games I play are CSS, Test Drive Unlimited, Splinter Cell, Bf2142, Stalker and oblivion.

Im looking at two options to use for the next 3 months as a put on.

So which ever will give me best performance in these games at my resolution with as many bells and whistles, also resale value can be taken into consideration if its substantially different.

Im either looking at 1x 8800gtx or 2x 8800gts 320 - I will overclock, no doubt about it, which option to go for?

Im just sick of poor performance in games such as test drive unlimited, I want something to put me on, the cash ive come into is extra money I have as I have to stay at home for the next 4 months, so Im going to be spending more time on the computer and im going to be saving on travel expenses. So im treating myself

Well im currently using sli, I dont have many complaints, fair enough not all games support it, but the majority of games that I play do support it and the benefit in some case can be moving from 2x AA to 4xAA and remembering that I got my cards long before the 8800gtx came out I could get a very decent performance on my 24 incher. Unfortunately newer games seem to need the raw shader power of the 8800 series to run with bells and whistles at 1920x1200, hence the move

EDIT : I do have 512mb on each card tho, so the fact that its 512 isnt all too shabby
