Hi im getting a A64 3200+ Venice E6 stepping and im just wondering what these CPU's clock to on stock volts or a slight voltage increase..

Just some info about my new 3200.

I was expecting my 3200 to have a X9 multi like the 3000 but I was surprized to see it's x10. (Great)

In my Bios which I have not messed with because I'm using the fan that came with the CPU is set using 1.45 volts I thought they used 1.35 which is strange.

The 3000 has a multi available up to and including 9, and the 3200 has 10, 3500 11 etc. This is quite normal (unless you get one of those few golden chips with a totally unlocked multiplier).

Default volts is 1.4v but I think it may vary on motherboard as to what is set, not sure why but maybe it's old BIOSs. It would be fine set to 1.45v as that's a perfectly safe voltage.

I can't see there being a problem. When I overclocked my Opteron 144 it would do about 2.4GHz on 1.35v which is below the default, I imagine other chips would respond in a simliar way. You would be ok at default settings.

It should reduce the temp, but since it will be running so cool, close to room temperature I doubt you'll see a difference. I would prefer running it at default really.
