3200mhz with 5800x

Will there be any performance lost running 32gb (2x16gb) @ 3200mhz cl16 compared to 3600mhz cl16? Coming from intel and have heard amds run better with higher ram speed

If you're playing games at 1080p medium with an Rtx 3090/6900xt then yes if you benchmark average fps.

If the price difference is over £20 then don't bother.

4k with rtx 3080. Already got the 3200mhz.. wondering I need to upgrade but seems not

I would say no because pci gen 5 is out next year, and 6 in the next 3 most likely. Gen 6 is nearly 10 times the speed of gen 3.

DDR5 will be around for the next handful of years, will likely be around 2 years before ddr5 is at a decent speed though.
