Cinquecento!!!

I know its sounds crazy but im sitting here reading the article in Practical Performance Car magazine.

Some guy had a Sierra Cosworth YB turbo engine sitting around and decided to stick it all in to a Cinq!

Ill have a look online to see if i can find any more info on it.

He is now selling it for his next project and hes after £4800 for it!

Been chatting about this with friends on the fiat forum, caused some interest and gives me ideas.
Here’s some scans I took from the mag (it’s nearing it’s new edition so I think it’s ok to post).
He could have made it look a bit better, looks to chavvy for my liking and he didn’t even use a sporting. Not liking them sx bumpers combined with way to big, binging wheels but I suppose they are necessary to house the brakes.
Still it's a fairly good sleeper and an impreza eater.

I have to ask, why do people say Impreza eater? why not just a fast car? lol

Because he actually went on some ride along with a load of Scoobys and they couldnt get past him :D

In two minds about that one tbh, i love anything with a cossie YB in but tbh. Ive never know cinq's to handle well, and how the hell does it get the power down? wheel spin??

Sounds like it was done for bragging rights and willy waving more than anything.

Probably not very hard considering its power to weight ratio. Hate to be the one to say it but I know which one I'd rather be in when it came to a corner.

Good to see though that the Impreza is still used as a gauge for other cars. Wouldn't sound right saying "Its a Clio eater" now would it ;)

Just waiting for someone to put a cosworth engine in an Impreza :D
