Hey Guys,

This has probably been done to death but in a bit of mad panic and can't find anything on Google (my google-fu is weak today)

Basically bought a new computer for our Workshop at work 64bit Win 7 Pro, but I completely overlooked the fact he uses some cd's of Van manuals which are a bit on the old side so only for 16/32 bit perhaps. Is there any emulation software or tricks I can use to get these to run and install?

Cheers.

Win 64 should run 32bit or even 16bit possibly. With pro I think you can run winXP emulation.

32 bit will almost always run fine. I have only come across one program that wouldn't (and it was a logitech firmware updater, and the program wouldn't let itself run, it wasn't a windows problem). 16 bit programs will not run at all though, unless you use xp mode, which is free from microsoft with windows pro anyway. Drivers are more of an issue than programs, but it shouldn't be a problem now.
