32bit or 64bit

Having just got an iphone I am now really annoyed at having 64bit vista. I do have the retail vista disc and so I could just clean install to 32bit. What would I lose from going to 32bit apart from less of my ram being 'seen' ? Could I install 32bit onto another of my hdd's and run 64bit and 32bit at the same time with 1 retail product key? how does it work?

You could try setting up a virtual machine and then installing 32 bit xp on that?
