32gb ram on Haswell

Hello,

I have an MSI Z87-GD65 mother board with 2x8gb TeamGroup Vulcan RED (2333mhz) ram sticks in it; If i add another 2 to take it up to 32gb will i notice any problems or stability issues?

Depends on your CPU overclock, but it is very unlikely. Why do you want 32GB anyway?

Running Softimage XSI and heavy displacement tessellation gobbles up silly amounts of ram; I would be fine as long as the built in OC Genie overclocks still work (4/4.2ghz)

I have 32GB of 2400 and an overclock of 4.80 on my 4770K *1.28v, I won the silicon lottery * You should be fine

I have the MSI Z87-G45 board, added an other 2x4gig team group 2400 ram (already had 2x4gig) taking me up to 16gig.

To get it stable I had to down grade it to 1600 otherwise I was for ever BSOD.

Both sets run at 2400 if they are on there own, system just doesn't like it, though the sticks are very close to the CPU heatsink as the ram spreaders are huge so could be a heat issue at the higher frequencies.

Oh and system overclock is only 4.2 @ 1.050v.
