Behind you... Naked!
I got myself 2 Windows tablets.

I first got myself a 10" Linx one, and I cannot be bothered with it because its complete junk, and so god only knows why I have just also bought myself a Microsoft Surface RT.

They are both exactly the same spec, same Quad Core Atom CPU both have 32GB the RT has a bit better rez, but hardly worth jumping about over, although the Linx I have put Windows 10 onto it just so I can force the Tablet only mode, and the RT is... Well, I dont know yet cos I have turned it on, played with it for 5 minutes and then threw it into the cupboard and I am not going to use it until the screen protector arrives... Which is hopefully tomorrow... Im like that... I think I have some form of OCD because I will never touch any of my phones or tablets withotu a screen protector, and the proper protecting case etc... Annoying when I have loads of these things, the costs mount up!

but anyway, on the Linx, I have bought a 128GB MicroSD Card and thats sorted that out. I have the docs, pics, music, videos ect folders all pointing to folders on D: to help keep the 32GB inbuilt as free as I can have it.

This helps of course, but, I was wondering... Could I upgrade the 32GB?

Either the Microsoft one, or the Linx... Maybe on both?

Similarly, does it have any extra magic hidden inside?

I ask this because I had a seriously naff tablet from ebay about a year ago that was an 8GB job, and I opened it up only to find 2 extra SD Slots, and a few switches, and while I was twiddlign abotu with the switches, I managed to get it to 16 and 32GB, root it, and enable these extra slots, meaning that I also put in a couple of other 32GB cards internalls and with the one external, it had 4x32GB storage. and I had upped the RAM to 2GB.

I have checked for this on almost every other tablet I have, never found anything like it since so its probably only that modl maybe... a KitKat thingy it was! - £60 only too!

but these Windows ones are brand new so I will of course not bother.

Anyone have any ideas?

What exactly is your Microsoft one? You say they have the same spec (Quad Core Atom), but the Surface RT never came with an Atom (rather a Tegra 3), even the only other Surface that runs Windows RT (the Surface 2 - non Pro) has a Tegra 4.

Indeed the only Surface to run an Atom is the Surface 3 (again non Pro), which isn't an RT and doesn't run RT.

If you do indeed have a Surface 3 (with a keyboard cover), then that is the one to keep, no questions, period. But this again makes little sense, as the only two sizes of Surface 3 were 64GB and 128GB.
