Hi All,
I have a gtx 1070 gpu and currently run 2 x 27 inch monitors at 1080p and I was wanting to change one of them to a 32.5 or 32inch monitor at 1440p. Would the gtx1070 struggle? looking for some advice as the card is fine for my needs right now.

I run an ultra wide at 1080p using my Vega 56, just got off a mafia 2 session, I achieve AVG frame rate of 120fps

It depends on the games and settings and resolution. size of screen makes zero difference.

a 1080p screen that is 20 inches uses the same amount of power as a 1080p screen that is 120 inches.

as for 1440P and 144hz. you ideally want a 2070 super for modern games.

i've used a gtx 1070 and it struggled, i then upgraded to a 1080 and that was fine. but now my 2070 super shreds at that res and i play at 165hz. it still struggles in some games and i have to lower settings. so a 1070 wouldn't work at all IMO for me.
