335i with 70k on the clock

Just taxed mine for £210, it has 221g/km emissions :)

I only ever get around 20 mpg out of mine but I do drive it quite hard.

A 56 reg one (assuming it's that Car Giant link) is £400 tax as those are 228 g/km CO2.

As for MPG, I've had 35 mpg cruising at motorway speeds but you'd be pushed to get anything more than that.
Around town 22-25 mpg is par for the course.

I'd have absolutely no problems with buying a 70,000 mile 335i. Obviously try to use it as a lever to get the price down further, but the car should have no mileage related issues.

The car giant one is pretty poor spec wise.
Fine it has got the right engine, but its an SE with no nav, xenons or bluetooth.

Edit: I tried the zoomed image and think I can make out the dome of the xenon light you get and there is a blanking plate where the washer would be so not sure. Will await the smart people.

it's not that poor a spec; it has heated electric memory seats, parking sensors, etc.
although it is missing nav and bluetooth which means it could be harder to resell, but i guess the cheap price means you can sell it cheap

i think it might have xenons, as it has the washers..

if you can live without the nav then it's a good buy. i wouldn't want one without the iDrive though :)

My car is a 2008 model which I believe is why it has lower emissions.
