my brother amd 3700 san diego in my opion is running cold bearing in mind it has been overclocked to 2.4g and this reading was when it had just been pldoing 3d mark o6 on deep freeze level.it is running at 33 oc this i think is very low with a stock cooler (i.e i dont now Lol) because mine runs at 47 under load with a artic frezzer hfs bearing in mind mine has been overclocked quite a way. anyway i think it could be the thermal heat sensors. so if any of you now of a good programe to read the cpu tempture will you please leave a link.

thank for your help

I can't remember off the top of my head what mine runs at but it surprised me how low it was

it says it is doing 33 oc under load which i and as you guys agree is far to cool so do you now of any good programe to measure accuratley my brother3700 sd thanks ;)

I would suspect it's a sensor problem to be honest so changing the program won't probably achieve anything.

Why don't you find your own script writer pal!!

;)

The only thing that will solve a dodgey sensor reading is a bios update, so i would try that if possible :)

i update the bios and every thing seem to run fine and now the senors giveing 45 oc when idle what is about right

Thats abit high for idle. My runs at 28-34 max at idle depending on the weather and room temp and thats with it clocked to 2.85 and putting 1.56v through it. My stock heatsink never left the box though so not sure how it would perform with that on instead of my g-power pro.

smiley what programme are you using to give you your load temperatures? My old opty 148 at 2.8ghz had temps of 28/29c idle and 38-42c load and that was on air.
