34# Ultrawide Recommendations

ROFL thanks for your opinion Tepnos !! i was doing it by hand yes but the inaccuracy comment wasnt my own view or opinion it was from various sources such as reviews have said about it.

Well, I don't think anyone expects to buy a monitor for colour accuracy without having to calibrate it for their own personal setup, so the important part is how well it does calibrate, and from memory with PCM2s review of it and so on, it handles that just fine. :D

No your right Greebo and i realise that now, i hold my hands up im not upto scratch with the ins and outs of gamut ranges etc i just made the assumption it would be the same as my other ultrasharps. Was why i asked for help on the forums before i shelled out for one of the more expensive screens. well that and i thought i may save a little money in comparison.

Anyway i apologise for this taking over your post WarmachineAaron.

My opinion is compared to your cheap samsung i think you would be happy with any of the monitors mentioned above, yes they have screen bleeding on really extreme cases of black etc (eg with the light off its very noticable) but other than that im sure the u3515w will impress and meet your needs. I tried Witcher 3 on it and it looked amazing :)

Your alright mate, it gives me more things to look up about for when i get my own.
I just need to save £600-700 up now ;(

No worries mate, keep your eyes peeled for any graded ones they can often save you around £100-£150. In fact this one im sending back is ready to go back Monday so if you wanna save some money id keep checking tuesday or wednesday ;)
