Highest I know of is the new 34GK950F which can do 85 Hz over HDMI. I believe all the G-Sync 3440x1440@100Hz panels have HDMI 1.4 so the most you can do on them is 60 Hz.
Hmmm, so why do Samsung market the 34F791 ultrawide with pictures of a pc and laptop connected via PBP, when you cannot run both at the native resolution/frequency?
Surely these monitors should have more than one DisplayPort connection?
It suggest HDMI 1.4 is limited to 50hz (correct as thats a limit on most these panels), but HDMI 2.0 is 100hz. Page 36 also has more details:
HDMI Mode Select the HDMI mode to use. ― The supportable device and resolution may differ depending on its version. ― When the version is changed, the screen may blink or the setup window in your PC may be changed. ― When the setting is not appropriate, a blank screen may appear. In this case, check the specifications of the device.
1.4: HDMI 1.4 input is supported. The product supports the vertical frequency up to 50 Hz in the maximum resolution (3440 x 1440).
2.0: HDMI 2.0 input is supported. The product supports the vertical frequency up to 100 Hz in the maximum resolution (3440 x 1440). For use of HDMI 2.0, you must use the graphic card and the standard cable that support HDMI 2.0.
Also confirmed again on page 43 of Manual. So yeah, that panel does actually support 3440 x 1440 @ 100hz over HDMI when you also have a HDMI 2.0 GPU, unlike other panels which only come with HDMI 1.4 which was the limitation. FreeSync however only works over displayport according to the manual however.
